How it Works
Papa Tank Theatre is proud to announce its Fall 2024 Session!
For our Fall Session we will be working with our young performers for a production of Annie Kids! This production is open to young performers of all abilities! This includes participants identified with a unique ability (including Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum, intellectual and physical disabilities, neurological disorders). To participate young performers must be age 8 or older.
Time Commitment
Rehearsals typically take place Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from around 5:30 pm- 6:30 pm and sometimes on Saturday mornings before lunch. Not every participant will be called to every rehearsal. The final week before the performance will be almost daily. A conflict calendar will be available for participating artists and mentors; we will make every attempt to accommodate this as we schedule rehearsals.
Location
All meetings, rehearsals, and the performances will be at Washington Street Methodist Church, 1401 WashingtonStreet, in Downtown Columbia. Please use the church entrance that faces the Bull Street parking lot.

Each Session is made up of multiple Workshops that take place twice per month. Workshops are hosted by our team of professional artists, who lead students in a variety of artistic exercises while helping them to prepare for our End-of-Session Performance.

This Session will end with a performance! Each student will be able to take part—either on stage or behind-the-scenes in a role that highlights their unique abilities.
